- Center on Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS)
The Technical Assistance Center on PBIS has been established to give schools capacity-building information and technical assistance for identifying, adapting, and sustaining effective school-wide disciplinary practices. The Center focuses on both broad dissemination of PBIS technology to schools, families, and communities.
- Center for Effective Collaboration and Practice (CECP)
Identifies promising programs and practices for children with serious emotional disturbance, promotes the exchange of useful and useable information, and facilitates collaboration among stakeholders at Federal, state, and local levels.
- Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (CCBD)
CCBD is an international professional organization committed to promoting and facilitating the education and general welfare of children/youth with behavioral and emotional disorders.
- Prevention Strategies that Work: What Administrators Can Do to Promote Positive Student Behavior. This guide illustrates prevention practices that school administrators have found to be successful for all students, including those with disabilities in accelerating school performance, increasing readiness for learning, and reducing inappropriate behaviors. The strategies delineated in this guide were taken from the work of researchers from six universities. The information will assist administrators in focusing on prevention strategies and creating a school environment that promotes positive behavior.
